Legal Requirements
You must be 18 years of age or older to order or receive wine from Hahndorf Hill. A sober adult (18 years or older) is required to sign for all deliveries containing alcohol. Wines purchased from Hahndorf Hill are intended for personal use and not for resale.
Credit Card Charges
All website orders must be paid by credit card or express checkout. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express, as well as Shop Pay and G Pay for a faster, secure checkout experience.
Payments are processed securely via our third-party provider, Stripe. The handling and storage of your payment details are subject to Stripe’s own privacy and security policies.
Minimum Purchase
There is no minimum purchase requirement. During promotional periods, special offers such as free shipping may apply when you spend over a certain amount.
Shipping Costs
Hahndorf Hill uses Australia Post as our primary delivery partner, though other carriers may be used at our discretion. Shipping costs are charged at the rate displayed at checkout, unless your order qualifies for free shipping.
To qualify for free shipping, you must order 12 bottles or more - unless otherwise stated during a promotional period.
Our logistics are managed through ShipStation, a third-party shipping platform. Your delivery details will be provided to ShipStation to facilitate delivery. The handling of this information is subject to ShipStation’s own privacy and security practices.
Shipping Timeline
Orders are typically delivered within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your location. Delivery times may vary for regional or remote areas.
During busier periods, such as public holidays, major sales, or the festive season, shipping times may be longer. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details so you can follow your delivery progress.
Extreme Weather Policy
Wine is sensitive to temperature extremes, which can affect its condition during transport. To protect your wine, Hahndorf Hill has an extreme weather policy and may delay dispatch during periods of excessive heat, either at our winery or the delivery destination. We will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time once conditions improve.
Refund Policy
Orders may be adjusted or cancelled prior to dispatch at the discretion of Hahndorf Hill staff. Once dispatched, orders may be recalled or redirected upon request; however, refunds or credits can only be processed once the original wine has been returned to us.
If a breakage occurs in transit and we are notified by our carrier, we will arrange a replacement as soon as possible.
We will replace or refund any bottle received damaged or faulty. To assist with assessment, we may request that the remaining portion of the bottle be returned. Under Australian law, returns can only be accepted for damaged or faulty wine. We cannot accept returns for wine damaged due to weather during transit or ordered in error.
Please contact us at cellardoor@hahndorfhill.com.au to arrange a return or replacement. Once the wine has been received, we will process a refund to your original payment method for the value of the wine, less shipping and handling. If the wine was damaged or faulty, you will receive a full refund including shipping.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or amend your booking for a wine tasting or ChocoVino experience, please contact us as soon as possible.
Changes to Bookings
If you wish to change the date or time of your booking, please contact our team on +61 8 8388 7512 or email cellardoor@hahndorfhill.com.au. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
Group Bookings
For group bookings of eight or more guests, at least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before your booking will receive a full refund.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your booking or non-attendance on the day are non-refundable.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your experience. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, and refunds cannot be offered for missed portions.
Cancellations by Hahndorf Hill
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your booking (for example, due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered the choice of a full refund or an alternative date.
